London Central and West (LCW), one of London's leading providers of integrated urgent care services, has appointed Tessa Harvey as its next chief executive. With a passion for delivering excellent patient care to the people of London, Tessa shares her enthusiasm for the role: “It's great to have joined LCW and I’m thrilled to have been given the opportunity to lead the organisation. I’ve always been impressed by the ability of LCW to provide integrated urgent care services of the highest standard and I’m incredibly excited to work with our team to deliver services which support and empower patients in need.
“I really admire LCW’s patient-centred approach to delivering care. It’s so important that we put patients first so that they can receive the best possible care whenever they need it. I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues across the organisation to build on the strong values that LCW upholds and making sure that we continue to evolve as an organisation to meet our patients’ needs in the most effective way possible. It's been great to meet so many committed colleagues over the last two weeks and I look forward to continuing to do so and hearing about how we can improve what we do for our patients.”
Fred Worth, chairman of LCW, said: “I'm delighted that Tessa is joining us to take up this very important and challenging role. Tessa's leadership skills, combined with her knowledge and experience of NHS commissioned urgent and primary care services, will be of great benefit to LCW as we continue to improve our performance and mobilise our new services.
“Tessa will play a crucial role in implementing our strategic vision and collaborating with our members, staff, and system partners to enhance the well-being of patients, service users, and the communities we serve. I’m excited to have Tessa on the team and I know that her expertise will help us deliver on our mission to improve access to integrated urgent care services.”
