LCW are pleased to announce the launch of a new North Central London Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) contract from 1 November 2023 to provide NHS 111 services in partnership with London Ambulance Service (LAS) to the 1.5 million people who live within Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Islington and Haringey. This contract brings together the strengths of both organisations to provide responsive care models for callers to 111 who require Clinical Assessment and/or GP out-of-hours face to face or visiting services.
Service users will benefit from the partnership of two experienced providers of urgent care across multiple IUC contracts. The service model for North Central London patients enables integration with LAS 999 Emergency Ambulance and LCW Urgent Treatment Centres enabling seamless pathways for patients to receive the right care by the right person. LCW and LAS teams have worked diligently to mobilise the new contract and we look forward to the continued growth and development this partnership offers for residents and visitors to North Central London.
