We are currently recruiting NHS 111 Health Advisors (call handlers). If you are local, have excellent listening and communication skills and want to make a difference, why not come and work for us?
NHS 111 Health Advisors play a crucial role in patient care, answering telephone calls directly from the public and directing callers to the most suitable service to meet their need, whilst also escalating and seeking advice from our Clinical Advisors and GPs where appropriate.
Conan O’Neill, Chief Operating Officer, said: “The expansion of our service provides a great opportunity for local people to embark on a new career or take a change in direction while developing a rewarding career in the NHS.
“As a 24/7 service, we’re looking for dedicated and empathetic people who are passionate about helping others. If you also have questioning and problem-solving skills and a passion for learning, we would love to hear from you.”
By joining LCW you will become part of a highly skilled and dynamic team based in the heart of West London, home to one of the UK’s most diverse communities. As a values-based employer, the values that underpin our commitment to patient safety are the same we commit to ensuring employee wellbeing. This is at the forefront of everything we do.
In addition to salaries up to £28,000, including enhancements paid for unsociable hours and bonuses paid for retention, we offer a number of other benefits including 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays increasing with length of service; an Employee Assistance Programme, comprehensive training and induction, NHS Pension, and an onsite staff restaurant. A variety of shift patterns are also available.
We are currently recruiting for other roles at higher rates of pay.
